Personally I would like to see Leuluai given a free role he is an opportunist, he won't create something out of nothing but when he see an opportunity he can take it.

I would have him play scrum half and move him to acting half back on the back of big runs from players like Feka and Hock so that he can scoot from the play the ball or be around for the offloads. I wouldn't like to tie him down to the hooker role as he is excellent at breaking/avoiding tackles it would be better to have him run in different areas of the pitch and he can also put in a good cut-out pass when he wants to.

Sam has been a bit quiet recently which might not be a bad thing. He is settling into his role and doing what is necessary rather than Fielden who is cocking everything up. Hopefully if the team keep playing well Sam will be able produce some brilliant he is well capable of producing, as a side note his defence has been outstanding.

Lucky 13 has a point. Tommy got moved form 7 to 9 for a reason by NZ. As a 7 he does not quite cut it. He plays 7 like he is playing 9. Makes plenty of dummy half style runs and has a good step but his passing and kicking game are not up to it for a half back.

So in an ideal world he would move to 9 for us. The only snag with that is we signed the aptly nicknamed Piggy as our main no 9 and he has two more years to go on his contract and Tommy's expires at the end of this season.

So if you think as I do we need a better 7 than he is what does the club do? Pay off a contracted player like Riddell so Tommy can move to 9 or just let the out of contract player leave so they can sign a better scrum half?

I suspect they won't let Tommy leave and will give him a new deal but so long as he remains as our no.7 it will be another reason why we are not competing with Leeds and Saints.

I think it should be Sam who gets the free role he has more pace to carry on a break or finish it, that though creates my dilemma if we have Sam doing that we need an organiser to get us round the field . In an ideal world Lulu would slip to 9 he could still get the chances to run in fact from acting half it would improve he's already showed this. Being a hooker does not stop you playing a running game KC,Roby seem to get enough opportunities why not Lulu? if anything it would allow him to shine and by following play he would almost get a chance to run at all areas .
At some point you have to make hard choices the ones we face next off season are vital. We showed we are not far off against Saints despite them wanting to say they didn't play well I think a lot of that was down to us getting into the face of Graham, Roby, and Pryce unfortunately KC is another matter and that was the difference for me, I would say he created and did most damage to us and showed how a hooker can be so important.
I would like Lulu to stay but it would only be if he moved to 9 if we don't Sam will suffer I believe he is the priory
that would then mean we need to get a quality half Bailys money should allow that , again if possible I would allow Fielden and Coley to go and bring in two props one ideally a leader for the rest to follow into battle because that's what it is , we also may need a center depending on Carmont if we can put that in place we will not be far off.
Last coaching most important call for our future, even if we stayed with Nobby the above would put us in with a chance.
