That said Ainscough and Tomkins are begining to tread the same path with some fans that the likes of Ashton and Goulding did. They were seen as world beaters and superstars initially with their performances blown out of all proportion. This was partly because they were 19 year olds just starting out and in truth these performances although decent/good were no where as good as some were making out. However now the shine is begining to fade and the same fans want them dropped for playing much the same as they were initially.
It'll be a huge call if he does drop either of them, considering how well they have done?

I think if Nobby drops the young lads for this weeks game it's the sign of a desperate man, his only possible way of thinking is a win and I dropped the young ones will show that it's the players and not the coach whos loseing games :conf:
If we were on the back of a winning run, could bring in class to replace them and had faith in Nobbys comitment to the youth set up then I could say yes give them a rest, but it would send out the wrong message at this time the lads need to play this game and win not be dropped and see the likes of Smith do it .
Players dropped before the kids for this one should be Fielden, Pryce, Roberts, I know this may sound daft I would play Baily at prop befors Fielden at the moment it's that bad.

Jeez! It must be bad then!!!!!

I know what you are saying though lucky 13. As you have correctly said, what the heck have Ainscough/Tomkins done wrong, should they be dropped? :conf: :conf:

If he drops Ainscough and Tomkins this week i will never watch Wigan again until Noble goes there are more players who warrant being dropped before them. For me this will be the final nail in the coffin as i have been fed up with the garbage that is being dished up week in week out .Watched Wigan home and away for 55 years this will be it for me.

I tend to not slag players off Turf but it doesn't need a genious to know who they are.

The golden opportunity was missed last year with no relegation Noble should have given the younger players more game time they would have been better players now.
