But I saw Ainscough at Wakefield in April when he only came on as a late replacement for Carmont throwing up on the bus on the way over here, he scored 4 tries and caught every high ball but one that Wakey peppered him with and on two of the catches shot up field and gained 50 yards plus.
I was away in France for the game against t'Wire in May when apparently Noble brought him back for 1 game and after struggling against King dropped him again. How often have posters on here said that good players don't improve playing in the academy? Ainscough needs to be playing in the first team regularly, I'll forgive the odd boo boo but Roberts who scored regularly in Oz has lost either confidence/enthusiasm and would benefit from some shock treatment. Perhaps our future Aussie signings should have a contract clause that their megabucks are only paid for first team games, don't tell me that this will stop us signing players, any top pro will have supreme self confidence and would just dismiss that threat as an idle one since they all think that they are far superior to anything overhere.

On attack his positioning whith his centre is poor with overruns. This is a timing issue that would correct if he had a constant partner. A Wigan weakness. He did little wrong to come in for the slating here on Friday. People are looking for an excuse to trash anybody and they are succeding.

Jim, I am not trying to trash this blooke, however,
I have only managed to get to one game this season, at home against Les Cats. Amos was shocking in defence that day, he was bounced off in the corner for an easy try for Les Cats. I dont see many games due to overseas work commitments but I can say that I have Seen him bounced off a few times with tries in his corner.
His defence could be better.

OAMJS, you are spot on, he was lightning fast out there.
I look at Wigans fitness, and yes they are getting fit, even Piggy.
You still see errors in their game, and a team that sometimes struggles to break a defence down.
Stains can go full length in attack, we dont seem capable.
My honest opinion is that, although the players are much fitter (stamina), they are not fast enough in leg speed or reaction.
Its like training a race horse on sand all the time, its leg speed wont improve on the speed it trains on the sand.
My old man has done alot of training of sprinters and boxers, including me, from the age of eight.
Its just my thoughts of what I went through in some very small comparrison, and what he done to acheive specific things.

Oddly and no idea why he seems to struggle with Gleeson more than lesser centres. No idea why as I said.

His problem is that he isnt a winger hes a stand off and he always tries to read the game and at times over reads the game and is 1 step ahead of where he should be.
