Old Hooker,if Graham is your bench mark for the ideal prop the game is in trouble. Maybe as CP says it ishow he is told to play but I havve watched a marked deterioration in his play over the last couple of seasons. He is no more keen to mix it as a prop. The ease with which he hits the deck is rediculous. As i say I recon he will fade and disappear. Maybe his bottle is on the way out. Fielden mark2. I have nothing to prove so why mix it,
Jim

Jim his stats in 2009 are better than Fielden at his best ever achieved and he is carrying a young pack in transition. Your view is barmy on Graham. Every coach would sign him up.

Many props in SL are forced back with the impact of good tackles.
There are very few who are do not get forced back, even Adrian Morley takes backward steps now & again.
I have never in any tackle yet, seen James Graham go backwards from the point of impact of the tackle.
This is something I watch always with James Graham, waiting for it to happen for the first time.
If he is available, sign him up now IL.

With the look on his face at the end of last nights match
I don't think Mr Graham will be at Stains much longer.
He really spat out his dummy with the rest of the team especially Paul Whellens.
And what about that girl Long moaning at the ref that somebody pulled his hair in a tackle.
If he didn't have it puffed up like a haystack people couldn't touch it.
You never hear Keith Senior moaning about getting his pulled.

graham imo is a very good player and the point saying that he hits the deck to easy is crazy, every rugby league player is coached to win the floor ? attack or defense which means on attack go down on your frount and make 3 points of contact ,so to have a quick play the ball , so graham and even fielden are doing there job well for there team.

They're certainly not happy down there are they?
By all accounts they were streaming off after 60 mins against Cats and those that stayed only did to boo them off.
If you're feeling a bit down look at their fans site

If you think we have a downer on Nobby, one fan sums up Potters first year achievements as:
1) Lost Challenge Cup
2) Lost League Leaders Shield
3) Lost Reseve team Leaders Shield
4) Academy failed to reach playoffs
5) Lost for the first time to Catalan at Knowsley Road
6) Has introduced the most unentertaining and boring style of rugby.
