Wonderful atmosphere there today, it was nice to hear the KR fans cheering for Charnley and the Wigan fans starting a chorus of "There's only one Michael Dobson" when he got presented with his Player of the Season award after the match.

And Lenegan got mobbed :D

Here in 'arrogate we get Radio Humberside loud and clear so listened to the game on t'wireless and with Hull FC playing on Friday night there was uninterrupted ball by ball commentary for the full 80 minutes. Despite what the previous commentator said about the commentator the thing that came over loud and clear was an unbiased commentary recognising that Wigan were the best team in the league and KR at their best would not win unless Wigan imploded.
The bit I liked best was when the stats man remarked that this year Wigan conpared to last year have made less tackles, less yardage, less offloads and given away more penalties and with the same players bar one as last year but a new coach had moved up 3 or 4 notches to be worthwhile league leaders.
Eat your heart out Brian Noble but I bet he is still claiming all the credit for the influx of young players into the side

Didn't really notice Thaler much, which usually means a ref has had a decent game. We were in with a bunch of HKR fans, and neither set of fans was mentioning him much.
Seemed like a nice low penalty count. My only issue would be that Dobson should perhaps have got 10 minutes for the high shot on Sam when he was heading for the tryline, and possibly one of their try scorers (Lovegrove?) was offside at the kick from Dobson.

giants put them to the sword

wigan need to play for 80 minutes they got cought napping at the start of the second half then switched back on at 60 minutes in playoff football you wont get away with doing that

well done on winning the league leaders though well-deserved after a very consistent season
