Silverwood did his best for Saints
Re: Silverwood did his best for Saints
i've been trying to get hold of one of them receivers all season. Didnt see them at Millenium, didn't see them at Wire and didn't see them on Friday. It's an excellent marketing idea for the RFL. Next to nothing to make/wholesale purchase, sell em for £5, make probably 25%+ profit.

Re: Silverwood did his best for Saints
If you think back over the years some of the overseas players (and not just at Wigan )slot right into the team and hit the ground running, whilst some of them really struggle to get going,i think Matt King struggled at Warrington for quite a while before he came good, and now Lima and Finch are doing the same for us..i don't know the answer but when you think of it, they are a hell of a long way from home and if they and their families are having problems settling..they can't just hop on a bus and go to a relative for support. They are sort of on their own in a lot of ways. I don't believe for one second that they both turn out to each game and deliberately play crap.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I though the ref had a fairly decent game, yes one or two things were missed but consistently with both teams, at least he let the game flow

Like one of Meli's tries from last season if my memory serves me right.cpwigan wrote:I thought the referee did very well. Hardly noticed him. Yes he made the odd mistake but we got a try from a forward pass so it is swings and roundabouts.
All balanced out nicely.
