Also as said with the Wire around the corner Madge needs to give every available prop a run because 1 thing is for certain that game needs our 2 best fittest props starting and the next best 2 on the bench 1 2nd rower 1 hooker!
Also if I am being honest I am far more looking forward to OCarroll coming back than Stuey or Cross playing!
I too, am looking forward to Freddy coming back. Just don't want Stuart to get another injury so soon by rushing back

Not going to happen but I would like us to use Tommy at 9 for 80 mins and have 2 props & 2 second rowers on the bench against wire & really give it to em in the pack.
Mossop
Tommy
Lima
Hoff
Hansen
Lockers
Coley
Fielden/Cross
Hock
Faz

I would really like to see cross play tomorrow with a promise that a big game and he would have a chance to face Warrington.
His history shows he has loads of experience, played high grade Aussie rugby and state of origin.
He obviosly had a fall out at Leeds as i thought he looked ok against us and Leeds pach is shocking .
Maybe he could be the one to sort Morley out and send him running to Salford.

You appear to make out i'ts Fieldens decision
whether or not he plays and where or when.I was under the
impression it was MM's,give the lad a break.

Un neccessary post Plat-W, bear in mind before the days of IL Wigan as a club had player power not to be envied!
70-nil and 75-nil thrashings where not because the lads got outplayed!

Is it just because he is "Stuart Fielden", & it is deemed beneath him to play in the academy to see how he goes?
What if he takes to the field on Friday & has another breakdown, what then?
Every other player has played in the U20's after a long injury spell.
I don't think it's benath him Josie and if we didn't have the wire match next week I think he would get a run in the 20's but with this in mind I think madge we have a much better idea if fielden is ready to play next week if he plays against wakey than in the 20's.
Could be wrong but that's my take on it
Yeah I understand that Adam, but he has only performed in training, he isn't match fit which could take his toll on him. I wouldn't want him to come through the Wakey game unscathed & then play against Wire, have a breakdown during the game &
leave us with a man short off the bench & him badly injured again. That is my only worry.
My concern is that Stu also tends to have some of his weakest games against warrington, I cant remember him having a real good one against Morley and co in recent seasons.

With all due respect WES Fielden has been nothing but the most professional of players, from the time he came until now.
I was just pointing out for him to pick and choose whether he plays or not is up to MM.

Sounds like the Gaz Hock scenario over again, hope Stuart can put a 9 out of 10 performance in for his return match

I wasn't having a go at Stuart BTW, I was more concerned of him not being ready to play & a recurrence of his injury causing a further set back to his recovery!!
And I'm sorry to burst your bubbles, but Stuart won't be playing on Friday, he won't be playing at Warrington either.
He has just tweeted
Thanks to everyone for the messages. But I w'nt be back playing Fri night.Hope to be in the following few weeks though
