Another positive constructive opinion.

Oh, I like gossip and rumours as much as anyone, but when the thread is running up a back alley and treading in dog muck, then I try to amuse myself! Anyway WTFRU? the forum police person?!

Dean Bell has tapped up H for when his contract runs out. One hell of a price to pay for the Gelling 'favour' IMO!

If they're only talking about when H's current contract expires, then the Gelling referral has nothing to do with it. As disappointing as it is to see a good player leave, it's been happening for over 100 years and will continue to happen in the future.
If Bell has spoken to H already, then there's nothing wrong with that. It's not as if he's trying to get him to renege on his contract, a la Madge did with some players.

True, but he's got inside knowledge of which players to cherry pick having been involved with the club for all those years!

you don't need inside knowledge to know the quality of some of our players, you can see enough of them through the media. H is a class player who would be able to hold his own in the NRL in my opinion.

I would imagine he's been talking to the players agent, who i believe is an old coach of ours.
