Yeah, thats one of the ways the club manages to have money to pay the players to stay at the top of the game. The bastards.

Perhaps but it is still a rip off as is the full price tickets for the end of season playoffs. :exc:

As long as I can remember, there's been "Away" shirts every year - what's suddenly the problem ? Every club has them.
I happen to think the new one is a nice design and quite stylish, just because its not a 'traditional' colour doesn't diminish the fashion, that is now an element in these garments. "One man's meat is another man's poison, after all" !
And a friend has bought an Arsenal shirt for his nephew in London at a cost of £47.99 - and its nothing more than a glorified T/Shirt - nothing like the weight or make-up of a rugby shirt.
And if Purple is ok for Melbourne, it must be ok for Wigan ?

Everyone has got a choice, so if you think the shirts are a rip-off, for whatever reason, then dont buy them.

If fan's want to spend £47 on a away shirt, that is up to them but my point is that the team should only wear it at away games against Salford and St Helens in the Super League and a away cup tie at Leigh. Not at most or every game which has now become the norm in both rugby and football in order to make money.

This seasons away kit is the best for a while IMO , no-one puts a gun to anyone's head and forces them to part with their cash , if folk don't like it or can't afford it dont buy it ,
For me personally the only let down is the new training T shirts and vests ad they are splashed with Wigan Warriors across the front of the garment , for me I dont like the " Warriors " tag , but appreciate the money it brings in , so will most likely purchase something else after Xmas if I have any cash left lol .

Yes, they are not replicas they are Official. They did them last year available from DW, was hoping to wait to see if they had them.
