It is a reference to another thread where a poster was accused of being a "cinema goer" meaning their support extended no further than turning up to games and enjoying the match. Not interested in how the club deals with anything else. Your comment above gives the impression you don't care about how the Sam situation has been handled, hence "A cinema goer then!".

HTH
It's just another BS comment aimed to split the fan base in to degrees of supporter, an internet phenomenon with no place in the real world. Keyboard warriors with inflated egos not realizing that their forum rants achieve nothing but annoy other users.
How dare someone go to the match and enjoy the game, i'll stop here because the next sentence would start being abusive about how pathetic they are.

P.S Learn from Josie's posts she is funny, knowledgeable and not judgmental, all this while being respected by everyone.
I am not making any judgements. WW asked what was meant and I explained. It wasn't me who made the cinema goear comment in either thread!

Including me who has chipped in can we stop having a go as several threads now descend upon people arguing with each other.

We are all free to say whatever we want according to the site rules, by all means lets debate but not put down other posters for what sort of 'level' they want to discuss matters on.

If you are a casual supporter and don't care about behind the scenes fine just I don't see the point in you making comment on a thread regarding behind the scenes activities - why?

In my opinion... :o

I don't go to the matches I have to rely on TV and to a certain degree this forum. When I could go I went for the enjoyment and the banter after the game. I enjoy reading the in depth analysis of some posters. Yes, I get annoyed if their veiws conflict with mine but they normally have good arguements to support them. I may still disagree with their point of view but I can't recall ever being denied my view however uninformed its been. WE ALL love the game. Me, the specticle others just the wins yet others the analysis of the game.I haven't got the nouse for that I just enjoy the game They get enjoyment in analising the game. It's a forum veryone can have a say, rant, joke etc We all have one thing in common...our support of the Warriors :D Don't read anything into the fact I live Dartmoor. :D

I don't think anyone on this forum is trying deliberately to offend anyone, it's that we all love Wigan Rugby and have varying ways of showing it. Whilst I say I just go to enjoy the game and the day doesn't mean I don't care about how the club is run or how the team perform. I just don't go to the same depth of analysis as others. Wigan rugby is a part of my life but not all of it, this I'm sure is the same for others. What this site does show in my opinion is that there is a loyal fan base who care about the club, it's when people stop caring that a club is in real trouble.
I was going to buy a book called "The Power of Positive Thinking", and then I thought: What good would that do?
