Hardaker

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

This is just based on regular football situations but if he's asked for a transfer and is refusing to return to Leeds for preseason training or further discussion it's normal that the player receives a fine. This would also explain the personal issues thing that got him dropped from Leeds UK (England rl).

Now as I said this is based on normal football practise but it makes more sense then him getting in to a fight, taking drugs or turned in to an alcoholic.

Perhaps, if they give our game the better coverage it deserves, our supporters would have more respect for their newspapers, and you never know might even buy a copy.
Do not blame the media WW. They are often in the wrong but not so on this occasion. Even the RL Media have been atognised / p-off by McNamara. Lockwood the Editor of one of the Monday papers wrote a very good piece about the antics of McNamara bringing the WC into disrepute.

The people mainly to blame are actually the players who were involved in this disgraceful episode and I for one would not have liked to be put into the position that McNamara and the RFL were put in when you have a press who will latch on to anything to discredit our game, especially when a World Cup Competition is taking place in our country.

As far as I am concerned, if Hock had not been selected in the first place, we would not even be having a debate as it it obvious that he was the ringleader and like sheep, others followed.

Recently, it has been revealed that a number of Rugby Union players have been found to be taking drugs but the same press have not said a great deal about that.

Blaming the coach on actual playing issues is one thing but using the episode as means of personal attacks on him is another, especially when he was let down by players who disobeyed orders and are the one's who should stand the flak.

To their credit, the Leeds club have done right in the case of Hardaker and a pity that Salford have not done likewise in the case of Hock.
Was not going to do this but here goes.
It is quite obvious ww that your hatred of Hock is unhealthy. You are that far of the mark on your assessment of what went on regarding england players. For a start he was not the first player in the bar. he did not instigate night out. HE ACTUALLY WAS THE ONE WHO TOOK THEM BACK.Some where wrecked NOT HOCK.There was a set to DID NOT INCLUDE HOCK.Hock was sent home for missing vital assesment training time.NOT GOING OUT DRINKING.If you are intent on SLANDERING someone please do it with FACTS.Not made up lies and earsay.I have always fought his corner on here and will continue.I have already stated on here he deserved to be sent home and I unlike some was man enough to tell him personally. But if he was sent home for the night drinking Iam sorry but half the team should have been sent home BEFORE HIM.Now that is my last rant on the matter.

Just on the no drinking thing there have been multiple pictures of England players on Twitter with pints in their hand after this event took place, so the drinking thing doesn't hold weight anyway

Hock a "ringleader" now you are joking surely?

Why do you think he's got into the bother he has done in the past? Definitely not by being a ringleader!

Gareth is the sheep ???????????? IMO
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Top quality post AND more importantly THE TRUTH!

Gaz Hock will not appreciate it BUT he is a 'sheep', a follower. The 'mastermind' of nothing. If anything Hock was seen by the English RL as the gullible fall guy, a patsy. The English RL did not bargain for Dr M and co trying to redress the balance of lies / untruths and the management of the English RL being exposed repeatedly as 'jackasses' many such instances Long after Hock left the squad. You only have to read the comments of Lockwood in the RL monday Paper to see how childish and pathetic the English RL are acting towards the media, far more damaging than the behaviour of individual players.
