Wigan Warriors are set to unveil their 2014 home and away kits at the Grand Arcade in Wigan town centre this coming Monday (9th December).

Anticipation has been building for a number of weeks and following last week's unveiling of new Club Main Partners, Houses for Homes, the Double Winners are almost ready to reveal their playing strips for their title defence.

Members of the First Team squad will be on hand to model both new kits as well as signature pieces of the new training range at a special launch event outside Debenhams and opposite Warriors World at 6.30pm.

Following the event fans will have the first opportunity to buy Replica Shirts from the official Warriors World store until 9pm. The launch is free to attend and the Grand Arcade Multi-Story Car Park on Millgate to remain open until 9pm for fans driving to the event (charges apply).

kind of worried by the contemporary design that breaks from tradition, not really sure why they would do that.

I thought the retro shirts sold really well which in my eyes means people want a classic design over something completely different

Based on the rubber grips on the fabric, this is a close up. Very thin hoops? Or perhaps each hoop split into three thin ones - like Celtics kit? They may even be diagonal.

The club did say that every 3rd year the kit design would be contemporary and the other years it would be traditional.

Yeah looks that way Mike. They will reveal a bit more of the kit at a similar time each day this week leading upto the big unveil on Monday.
