Well we all have our favourites and it is nice to reminice about old times! When I said I was flattered I meant that he thought I wasn't old enough to remember Hanley playing for us but I do. I don't really remember Brett Kenny but I do remember people like Nicky Kiss, Adrian Shelford and the likes. All, of course, great players!

I don't know whether to feel sorry for the young folk that missed out on these players or worry that I'm turning into my Dad who used to tell me about Boston, Ashton, Bolton etc...every day... :D
They don't make players like that any more!
You youngsters don't know what you missed...sixpence (whatever that is in this new money) to get in th'en pen and watch some proper rugby players. And none of this poncy Summer rugby - ice, slutch, steam comin' off th'pack..Oh Aye!

Tell you what though, I haven't been to the JJB that much...but I'd find it difficult to imagine that anything could compare to the atmosphere at Central Park on big game day....

Ah you could smell the wintergreen the players used, none of this dodgy firweork display and eejits spelling out the word for a score.
ahhh i remember it well time to bring out the horlicks.
