RLfans was created as a multi club/forum site with the idea fans would converse with each other from different club. Today, it is individual club forums with draconian censorship to the point free speech is no longer allowed. Far from people growing up several staff have become more child like. WiganLeedsAndy is a prime example. The level of censorship / banning of away supporters on the Wigan forum is embarrassing. On that basis the ethos behind the creation of RLfans has died.

Hardly a surprise really. The whole sport is knackered, from top to bottom.
The 'other' code is predominantly made up of university graduate types. Doing pretty well, for a more boring game.
A coincidence? Our code is made up of individuals who would be lucky to count GCSEs on one hand.
Even soccerball has managed to move on to become a billion pound industry.
Sad....

I don't ever remember it being created as you say. The Virtual Terrace is for inter club stuff but whatever, as a Wigan only forum it has grown up of late.

Probably because some of the once younger members have matured!

It mirrors this forum in terms of "happy clappers" v "your a negative b'stard" fairly well.

One or two died in the wool numpties but ever since a certain poster off here had a right go at some of them for some pretty nasty attacks on yours truly it has been a better place to debate the game.

As to W/L/A I agree he was a bit too enthusiastic with the ban button but he seems to have calmed down a bit now the novelty has worn off. Which is what I expected to happen.
