Errors compounded by not utilising your best assets. Ball is going wide on virtually every 1st or second tackle in our own 20. You do not so that. He is the coach and needs to go back to coaching school and back to basics.
Sorry but playing dumb rugby without using your props to get out of the 30 yards is asking to be beaten.
We have thrown the ball about more in the 2nd half chasing the game, first half we didn't and should have been 20 up but again individual errors kept them in the game and made them look good!! I don't care if we play like the Harlem Globetrotters, the amount of individual errors is why we have lost nothing else!!
1st try stupid twisting the legs in the tackle from TT!
2nd try simple missed tackle from Joel
3rd try Bowen mistake when he should drop on the ball!
4th try dropped ball from Bowen!
5th try Pass from Sarginson
Are they all because of WANEBALL?
Very much this. The exact opposite to how we played against Warrington. Penalties, mistakes, brain-farts. Players need to have a long hard look at themselves. Too many individual errors.
Wane at fault for the substitutions and team selection though. Why was MM off the pitch for the first 20 minutes of the second half?
I don't know the ins and outs of the game like you lot but if I can see the same patern of play from Wigan week in week out then so can everybody else including opposition players and coaches. Imo this then leaves the result down to execution of set plays & attitude of players. Tonight both have been way below the standard required. In the games against the top teams there is no room for error especially with a team full of players who are maybe not the standard we believe them to be. I'm struggling to decide whether the system curtails the players progress or if some of them have overachieved beyond their limits in it and are now regressing to the mean. I'm tending to favour the latter. How to sort this out I don't know but the club can start by getting a goal kicker. Smith is way short of the standard required in this respect for a club like Wigan.

Ye s and don't ever tell mM is better than Roby.
You lose all credibility when you bring Bob Beswick into the argument!! Plus it is better to judge over time not just one game! How did Roby do when MM was actually on the pitch? Oh yes he came alive last 10 minutes when the game was won!! Try harder Jim!!

Your really missing the point WE CREATED NOTHING.
Thats is the point in the 2nd half we shifted wide everytime inside the first 2 tackles. Its not only about concinding its also about creating and we created nothing. In fact we made it harder for us and easy for them.
Apart from the tries did we have any period of sustained pressure in that game. No was we took almost everything wide and errors happened and we did nothing in their half almost all 2nd half.
No you are missing the point, we didn't create anything because we gave away silly penalties, dropped the ball, missed tackles, forward passes etc! Players didn't play well enough to create anything! Are you seriously suggesting the players aren't to blame for that performance?

I do think i have stated i did blame the players but unlike you i also blame the coaching in letting players play out across the line in our quarter so often putting us under pressure to make some of those errors.

You can have the best coach in the world with the best tactics to accompany it but if your players make schoolboy errors like they did tonight its pointless!! By the way I also think Wane gets a lot wrong but tonight it's about the players far more than SW!!
