At the Catalans game he said he had 4 months left to go. At such an early stage how can it change so much from 4 months to now around 10.cpwigan wrote:Frighteningly good suggestion.shaunedwardsfanclub wrote:Hurrell and Carney as replacements?cpwigan wrote:Maybe look for a winger from elsewhere. Rumour on the Saints RL Fans board that "the pies are in talks with Konrad Hurrell".
From St Pete who does seem to be pretty reliable with his/her rumours.

Based on your knowledge of his future injury problems, further emergence of Manfredi, difficulties with regaining form, loss of speed, weight gain and future failed contract negotations?OAMJSS wrote:cpwigan wrote:Frighteningly good suggestion.shaunedwardsfanclub wrote: Hurrell and Carney as replacements?

Re: Konrad Hurrell
Carney would be ideal for Wigan.
Him on the left and Fredi on the right and for me I'd select those two against any teams pair of wingers.

Hurrell was upgraded to the fulltime NRL squad in 2012, earning a starting spot against Manly at Eden Park in the first round. He has been a dominant and productive force since then, ranking among the club’s top try scorers in each of his two NRL seasons so far. In 2013, Konrad crossed the line 13 times, second only to Manu Vatuvei, and has scored a total of 25 tries in just 37 appearances so far.
