I agree Mrs Carney. I felt so disheartened when Newton went off (he's my fav player so there is some bias lol). But he is a big part of the team. I know he gets a bit crazy sometimes and makes silly high tackles, but if I remember rightly, not long after he was substituted, Huddersfield scored another try.

(just to add more fire to the rumour mill, reports from the south stand bar are NAJ has said he's going to resign/or already has)
Well, it's a start! We have been getting far too many injuries too easily in past seasons, maybe a new fitness regime would help us out there. Might earn us a few extra points earlier on in the season. Gawd, if that's the only thing I can look forward to I have been on here reading WNAC's posts far too much.

And, of course, that would be another of Betts' poor substitutions, despite the fact that Terry was in Disneyland.

That's a good point actually. It looked to me like that physio lady was gonna leave him on when he was quite clearly dazed, now I remember this happening earlier on in the season too, to another player and the whole crowd were shouting GET HIM OFF because he was stunned. I don't care whether the player thinks they can play on, I don't want bravery in that way there are no medals for it, those physios are trained and paid to know if someone should be on or off the pitch, it's no wonder we get so many long term injuries if they don't judge for themselves.
