1. Does the result matter? No it doesn't. The regular rounds are a warm up for a knockout comp that starts later on in the year. The hubcap is irrelevant.

2. WHY are we losing? The injuries, of course are an issue, but they mask the reason. We simply haven't enough go forward and energy at the moment.

We would have lost more often and by more points in the earlier rounds, but we relied on George to produce something special, and he invariably did. He had an off game last night and therefore wasn't able to bail out the team.

Is the lack of energy and go forward an issue? Probably not at this time of the season.
Not been on here for a while and my thoughts mirror yours

1. Sadly as the game stands we only need to make the top four. We are just playing friendlies now until the mid-season split

2. Injuries have and do play a major part of the overall team performance

BUT, my point is the senior players are the ones we as fans should be questioning. These players are the ones making the errors, often unforced and combined with bad discipline are seriously costin us. Joel Tomkins, Willie Isa (who to be fair is never a centre now), Ben Flower, Sam Powell, Cotton-wool Ball and Clubb are shocking at the moment.
