My worry is that the new and improved “flashy” Wigan have been found out by a reserve side, how long before the coaches in SL work out the changes?

At least we got the two points last week, so not a wasted trip unlike Leeds

I wouldn't read too much into it performance wise. With so much chopping and changing going on through a game you'll never get any fluidity. One or two (mentioning no names) may have reinforced people's opinions of their inability to step up in a game where they possibly had a point to prove.
Hopefully we have learnt a lot commercially from this whole experience and now have the knowledge of how to tap into markets others aren't. It's certainly needed with the lack of money in the game.

Wasn’t that figure,if true for the whole tour though?
Only if the attendance for the double header exceeds 30,000 +
Well at the crowd figure I saw 18000 it was a long, long way from that number.

Yes we lost to a NRL side youngsters.

But how many of them youngster would be in a sL starting side

We got so little ball in the second half and they only got 1 try.

We also stuck out our youngsters but unlike the NRL side we dont have a propper reserve side where they can develop.

Am i happy no but is it the end of the world?

If we help off for so long with so little possesion it looks promising defense wise for SL.

Agree that we need rid of Sarge

Should never have been resigned never been good enough maybe Wane could come up with a plan to play 3 full backs

Couldn't care less about the result. The only things that mattered were two SL points last week and that no one (hopefully) got injured, unlike Leeds who may lose Ward & Walker for a while.
It was even duller than watching Hull KR v Cats, which I gave up on before the end & I rather wished I'd done the same this morning. No one is going to remember this match by Monday morning and we can get on with a proper season. Hopefully the jet lag will have disappeared by Friday evening.
We went, we saw and we didn't conquer, so, bank the cash and forget about it.

Agree with all that. I thought it was a decent game of footy, with some good play by both sides at times. The Souths youngsters generally looked very good; as Caboose rightly says, they'd probably walk into any SL team. Maybe it's the catalyst they need after playing some pretty dull stuff the last couple of seasons.

They certainly gave our defence a good work-out. None of our kids looked out of place either; I thought Mullen looked very promising.
