I take full account that he's coming back from a serious injury, and hasn't had that many games. Carney was sooo disappointed that Saints had been 'pipped'.
Where is Carney’s poppy?
Hmmm
Who cares, it's his decision and nothing to do with the game tonight.

I care because he has plenty to say about other matters and he wouldn’t be presenting a rugby programme if it wasn’t for those who laid their lives down. Let’s give respect to everyone.

The determination and pride in the jersey is clear to see. Hats off to Lam for keeping them calm and focussed at half time. His substitutions were the right ones at the right time.
Well said Exiled. The best team finishes on top of the pile and this team deserves great praise in what has been a very trying season.

Hilarious that some people think he’s good enough for NRL.
Talk about negativity
Bloody hell we just won the Shield
Its my opinion thats all. I wanted to see him improve on last week and he didnt. As i never felt stressed or worried in the game i decided to see how players where playing going into the playoffs.
How many improved on last week’s performance? There are not many, if any, better centres in SL. I am glad he is playing in C&W. For what it is worth, I believe he would be a success in the NRL. More so, he would be a massive loss to Wigan.

He almost scored a try and a sniff at another and pre injury would have executed them with ease - he made some more runs and think he did improve on last week.

Like to see Greenwood's suspension challenged and halved and Dom back on the right wing. Scoring wins matches and Bibby, I'm afraid, saved one but bombed two nailed-on tries. With Harry Smith on the bench - that's the only changes needed from what we have available.
And why does Bibby always slip up when he plays? Surely the club can get that sorted.

Good that you care, but please start another thread about Carney. I care too, but I'm on here to read about the match.

Can never get proper info on substitutions/minutes played.

From SL website, these are the best I can guess from incomplete data. Can anybody help?

G.Burgess 17 mins (1spell)?

Singo: 18 mins from start - surely he came back on?

Flower: 14 mins each side of ht = 28 mins total.

Smithies: on after 18 mins, then ?

Partington: 33 mins from start + 22 in 2nd half = 55 mins

Clubb: 12 + 10 = 22 minutes.

Bullock: 2 spells from memory but no info given?

Above gives about 7 interchanges.
