What a performance! I think they announced the crowd as over 12k - something to build on as everyone that went will want to come back for more. For mine, a big shout out to Byrne. He now seems to be really denting the line - that is the real test of an effective prop. He looks really at home among the 4 experienced props. Happy days!

we bought tickets but the weather put paid to that. Concerned re the start, but all came good. Field is the best broken field runner I've seen since Offiah. Trying to work out how we for French into the team. Cust has done nothing spectacular bit I think he is a great prospect, nice to have some control in the middle, and the gaps out wide are a result of his hard work.

Sad I won't get to see alive game for several weeks now. Truly excited to be watching Wigan for the first time in many years. It's hard for those of us 2 hours away with no RL banter in our community.

Byrne has all the abilities and potential to be a great prop. Just needs to cut the penalties and errors.

It’s now on French to earn his spot in the team and he won’t be given it back on reputation alone.

1 French 6 Field 7 Cust 9 Leuluai (13 Shorrocks ). The definitive great problem to have. Plus, of course, KPP and Mago and even Bateman with offload games. I do wonder whether we have the outside backs quite right, and whether Hardaker could swap with Bibby, as he seems a better centre and Bibby a better winger??? Mere quibbles - small clouds on a beautiful sunny day.

As it should be too often the name comes back and form player gets dropped,doesn’t sit well with me that.
