Thing is pal, I get people questioning me cause of my vagueness sometimes, I totally get it and explained why I have to be like that on certain matters, French I was told was about to sign one day and he never, we now know of a NRL offer, I was then told Wigan knew where he wanted to be next season, and it comes out about his family relocating so he can stay, when I was told all this i believed it 100% but the longer it dragged on I was questioning my source but was reassured every time, the same with the other signing I've mentioned been done, I began to question and again was reassured, so for me what I've been told I'm posting... if its right or wrong from my source only time will tell, but its very reassuring that other reliable people on here have been given very similar information to me, especially the ones that come from outside of Wigan, in this instance a Huddersfield player, same info from different sides is a very good sign.
It's very easy to imagine Wigan signing two centres who have poor relationships with their coaches.DaveO wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 1:35 am It’s all a bit bizarre. If i have understood this correctly Powell didn’t want to have Hudds sign King permanently and Watson has said no to another loan deal for King so he’s killed off the swap arrangement.
So Wigan have King on a season long loan which presumably suits Powell but that means Hudds are a centre down and so want Wardle back.
I can’t see how both King and Wardle end up at Wigan but if they do it would be great and hilarious at the same time as it would no doubt piss Powell off no end.
it’s pretty good as it stands in the pissing Powell off stakes as at the moment he’s not got King nor Wardle.![]()
Come on mate, got to let us know what's happening with Bevanddtftf wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 6:56 pm Its hard and brave of Danny 2266 to stick his neck out to post what he has been told as you know i used to post a lot of things that did happen but took so much abuse i no longer post.
I have a good idea what Bevin French is going to do from another agent but i will leave it to unfold

Yeah fair play mate, not here to dispute what people know, suppose it's just frustrating as a fan when the excitement slowly drips away with what's in the news i.e french, wardle etc. But you keep doing what your doing and fingers crossed they come offDan2266 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 12:32 pmThing is pal, I get people questioning me cause of my vagueness sometimes, I totally get it and explained why I have to be like that on certain matters, French I was told was about to sign one day and he never, we now know of a NRL offer, I was then told Wigan knew where he wanted to be next season, and it comes out about his family relocating so he can stay, when I was told all this i believed it 100% but the longer it dragged on I was questioning my source but was reassured every time, the same with the other signing I've mentioned been done, I began to question and again was reassured, so for me what I've been told I'm posting... if its right or wrong from my source only time will tell, but its very reassuring that other reliable people on here have been given very similar information to me, especially the ones that come from outside of Wigan, in this instance a Huddersfield player, same info from different sides is a very good sign.
I did say at the very beginning before Peet took over that our plan was to go big for 2023, If we end up with King, Wardle, Field & French all at the club, that is a big recruitment/retaining commitment in my eyes.
Id pretty much say there is no chance of Luke Thompson now I think that the money that would of took has now been spent elsewhere, even if we still have cap space committing the funds it a totally different story.

That's a damn shame but Thompson always felt like a luxury signing. Nothing wrong with our pack now.Dan2266 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 12:32 pmThing is pal, I get people questioning me cause of my vagueness sometimes, I totally get it and explained why I have to be like that on certain matters, French I was told was about to sign one day and he never, we now know of a NRL offer, I was then told Wigan knew where he wanted to be next season, and it comes out about his family relocating so he can stay, when I was told all this i believed it 100% but the longer it dragged on I was questioning my source but was reassured every time, the same with the other signing I've mentioned been done, I began to question and again was reassured, so for me what I've been told I'm posting... if its right or wrong from my source only time will tell, but its very reassuring that other reliable people on here have been given very similar information to me, especially the ones that come from outside of Wigan, in this instance a Huddersfield player, same info from different sides is a very good sign.
