Being honest, I gave up on him weeks ago so, anything positive that he manages on the pitch will be a bonus,

Surely you save a whole substitution if you use the HT break as their rest. Maybe its just not long enough for true recovery - I'm not a physio?

20 mins from someone who's JOB it is to play rugby is a joke imo, and not a funny one at that.
Pro athlete Usain Bolt only managed 10 seconds. I understand what you are saying about his role. In that case I would be questioning the coach.
However, conceding on this and assuming it is ok to have a "20 minute impact prop", then I would expect him to be working his arris off in the gym, emphasis on anaerobic training and coming in with a lot of muscle to show the effort.
Instead he comes in with his body shape. What does he do in training then? Seemingly it's not aerobic, seemingly it's not anaerobic. I would love to know what he actually does "fitness wise".
