Smithies to canberra
Re: Smithies to canberra
Why would we want to sign an untried over the hill Owen Farrell at a cost that we could secure our up and coming young players future with, if he was 25 yrs old yes but not at his age, lets invest in our youth system .

Owen would cost £0 on the salary cap next year
Re: Smithies to canberra
We have signed really well. And only really lost KPP and Smithies (if he does go) who is like to keep.
I personally feel like french will be like a new signing next season again. A pre season training at 6 and it’ll be like we have a proper stand off who can do it all!
French has been putting KPP in holes the last 8 weeks.
Walters will run similar lines but quicker and more agile for me and score a couple!

He’d still be getting a wage which as ddtftf said could be used to invest on our up coming players, £0 on salary cap or not!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I have thought about this but maybe as much as we can spend is just there?
