What game were you watching? He was constantly coming into the line and making passes for other players. Put in some good defence as well. Wire were all over him and as someone else said earlier in the thread he’s a very unselfish player and he was today.

Jai put in another first class fullback display today. There is far more to the role than scoring tries from distance. His positional and organisational play is excellent and he always looks very safe at the back. From where I was standing behind the posts this afternoon, I’m sure he put Faz through a hole with a sublime pass for the try that killed them. That’s pretty significant for me.

Jai will more than do for me…wouldn’t change for anyone in the league. We win as a team, not as individuals. Jai is massive for us and, heaven forbid, if he got injured, we’d see just how important he is to the team.

Me neither threads like this get up my nose. Just won another trophy and people still have to have a dig he is pure class and like all the team was brilliant.

Crazy comment on Jai

He was a constant threat out wide and made lots of ground.

Put Faz into a huge gap for his try.

100 % rock solid in defence.

No other fullback id swap him for.

I think you're wrong.

The pass to Farrell was perfect.

I've just watched the game back and the amount of attention he is attracting is testimony to the threat that he holds.

He's a great defender too.

But I think I missed that moment. I find it hard critizing a player after such an excellent team performance and particularly after lifting a trophy, but what exactly did he do today? I'm sure I'll get slated on here, but I started this thread a few weeks ago following his less than inspiring performances and everybody on here assured me they were happy with his performance, and that he was nursing all kinds of injuries, but that he'd rip it up on the open space of Wembley when it mattered. Sorry but I think Imissed it
Pretty sure he put faz through for the cup winning try, no?

Agree with above posts. Jai has been great; there's no better full-back in SL. Solid as a rock in defence, and smart as always in attack.

Set up the Faz try

Think he did a try saver on the line with a low tackle on someone

Didn’t make any mistakes from memory.

What more do you want? Finals are never free flowing and expansive.

Defence, possession, no penalties, no errors - that’s how you win finals
