Wasnt the snowy oldham game in the challenge cup?As i recall it was the season after they had knocked us out and we won easily. Not 100% but i remember edwards sliding over for a try and leaving his muddied head dirty for most of the remainder of the game

First time away to Leeds in 2010, I was on the supporters coach that got bricked by the friendly locals. Marooned at a bus stop until the coach that dropped the reserves off could turn around and come back for us. Good job it was summer! My second time to Headingley was slightly better - the 50-8 win after a day of travelling back from London on a Megabus, where my iPod had switched on in my bag and the battery died just as I took my seat on the coach. Wonderful.
Went to Hull KR for the England vs France game in 2012 too. Never experienced cold like it.

Remember going to Castleford, started to rain gently at first, no bother. Second half the heavens opened & it must have been like the Great Flood!
Wigan fans were all rushing to get to the covered stand on the left hand side. There were 12 of us stood there with hoods up getting soaked. One of our group said ‘are we going to the covered stand?’
‘You lot can go if you want but I’m staying here, not going to stand with the opposition fans!’
‘Why not?’ a few of them said ‘Cos I’m a proper fan’ I replied. All 12 of us stayed put, along with some others I may add getting sopping wet
I see one of the people regularly at away games & he always says hello ‘proper fan’ to me laughing

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
