There was an older gentleman who appeared to take a tumble down the exit steps in the west stand. Does anybody know if he was ok ?

I'm on Virgin Media. I saw in the schedules, 9.45 pm on channel 991. I set to record. Then later, when I looked at my recordings list, nothing. So checked the channel guide; women's football. In the end, I fired it up on i-player on my lap-top and connected it to the telly with an HDMI cable. What a faff you have to do watch a game of rugby!

Do you not have the iPlayer app on your tv?

has anyone managed to get the rugby? all im seeing is a wildlife documentary without any commentary
Fuming, it was on the schedule but just didn't appear and no explanation. I'm assuming the football overran?
An unexpected bonus is that I did record Naturewatch and 6 hours of "new music"

Bit over the top all these comments about the reffing and our play.
Kendall was 'charitable' to Salford but didn't ruin the match; we started badly and finished not very well (until the last couple of minutes); some of our players looked great against not very good opposition but disappear when the oppo are better (Mago, for one and Hill for another). Otherwise we did the basics and used the left flank to good effect. Is there a better left side in the competition?
Great to see O'Neill back with a wholehearted display and thought Farrell did a very good job protecting the right flank. Walters and Nsemba were immense.
It could have gone pear-shaped - we probably should have scored more but it's another match out of the way.
Now let's trample the 'orrible little man in a fortnight.

Back to the thread topic rather than coverage, I thought yet again Walters turned in another top performance
that back row will be truly frightening when Liam retires maybe even before . Also great to see Field in full flow

I was happy with the end result, as Field went really well, and O’Neill looked superb in his first stint for a year. Walters looked brilliant, again, though he looks more like a prop to me, so maybe we need another second row. Which might explain our letting Hill and Byrne go…
The next 5 games promise to be fascinating. But we can win them all if we bring our A game (and may be facing teams with ongoing cup commitments).

Should be proud of themselves the Salford lads.
The bookies gave them a 65 point start and apart from a couple of reffing decisions and too many errors from us, we could have really put them to the sword. They kept at it though and for me, that's what RL is all about.
I've a bit of a soft spot for Salford, with fond memories of the Willows club. Hope this consortium thing works out for them
I agree, come on Salford.
Not sure it qualifies as a find memory of the Willows Chariots but my strongest memory is of the very strong smell of the embrocation used by the players in the changing rooms underneath the popular stand(stand)ing.

I do. But I find it so slow (and bounces you out of it half the time) that connecting via a cable is actually simpler and more reliable.
