I have a theory as regard Im. If you look he was much more successful early in his Saints career. I believe he came to the UK at a time when flat attack Brett Kimmorley / Melbourne Storm was all the rage and it was successful at that time. I believe he lost touch with how the NRL was changing and very much like Chris Anderson, he was stuck with one method of playing. For his own sake I think he should return to Aus and reeducate himself.

Fraggles right there, it was on Sky News before.

Whether or not he's won so many cups or whatever is irrelevant right now. We're not top of the league and lacking cups, we're bottom and lacking wins. Just give us something to cheer about right now and focus on the cups later, Millward wasn't sacked because he didn't win us a cup. He was sacked because we made no progress whatsoever infact we went backwards. If Noble can at least win us a few games then he'll already be a better coach at Wigan than Millward was.

Fraggle Millward defo won the world club challenge didnt they beat Brisbane at Bolton or Man City.Bottom line is for me Millward was as good a coach as Noble getting to Grand Finals and Challenge Cup finals onlt matters if you win them and inveriably Millward did.
From the St Helens website and Wikipedia for Bradford:-

Millward @ Saints - WCC in 2001 (fair enough, I was wrong about that); Superleague in 2000, 2002; Challenge Cup in 2001, 2004.

Noble @ Bulls - WCC in 2002, 2004, 2006; Superleague in 2001, 2003, 2005, Challenge Cup in 2003.

No comparison there, Noble wins hands-down 3 SL titles vs 2, 3 WCC vs 1.
theres a patten there next 2008 wcc next league 2007 sounds good to me

I believe he came to St Helens after doing pretty much nothing at Leigh and took over from a very good coach before him with a not so bad team. What did he do when Scully or any other of their 'big' names were out?

Welcome Mr Noble, please hurry up and bring the Sex bomb back to us and get rid of that twit in the no 9 shirt.
Hope he does really well for us and the players give him the respect he deserves. Keep us off the bottom of the league please Nobby. :)
I'll be happy if we just stay up this year, we'll have the grand slam nest year!

(well i can dream)
