Superleague, I tought you summed it up quite well.
I know it was first game so trying to remain optomistic for the season. We did look poor though and we allowed them to score so easily. Weather was bad but we dropped ball far too easily and what about that mix up from kick off when leului ran in to the other Wigan player. Summed up a scrappy performance.

Can someone post the full Wigan team that played? The official site is down and the huddersfield site only has their team on it. My car got a flat and I didn't make it to huddersfield in the end.

I think thats how they started although tomkins was on early in the game missed first couple of minutes .

Hock was my MOM he will be a handful this year,

Lulu was good two great hits one on Crabtree first half and a better one second half on the far side of pitch on a forward these hits were sonny bill type tackles also some good touches with ball in hand and 2 good kicks,

Now some will come on here and slate lockers both in terms of general play and leadership, but he was respsable for most of our good play in attack ,he set up two trys although he did miss a tackle to alow a soft try aswell .

Richards kicked well and we had quite a few penalties in front of sticks which we tapped and came up with nothing ,think we would have gone for the two in more competitive game.

fletch and fekka played for about 30 min each neither came on in the second half .on props hill ocarrol and prescott played well in second half and fielden spent more time off field than normal.


conditions were very poor and we lacked direction at times which Barrett will hopefully give us ,the game was full of dropped ball and the ref well he refed to usual standards we moaned about him so did their fans ,overall not great but not the end of the world

Hope today is not a sign of things to come.
Too many handling errors.
regardless of the weather we should have done better.
We have quality.

I couldn't bear another season like last season.

surley Bailey would have played centre and Hanesen start at Second Row, did they? and i thought Fletch played loose?

sorry could be me was late and spent first ten minutes looking for barrett just edited my first post but became a full match report and took me ages

anybody see the game different to me just interested.
