drop him. don't want to play well, don't want tot ry then drop him. because i'll tell you something. there are thousands of young kids and teens in the wigan area who would love to do what he does week ni week out, pull on the prolific number 1 shirt at wigan. if he doesnt give a sh*t about it then sod off to reserves because there are alot more people waiting inline who would give an arm or a leg to get to where he has.

I would be happy with a weeks wages fine for the players for Ashtons Rant at the trainer he would be on boot claening duty for the rest of the week as a part of humility training.turf posted:
Well what about the (reportedly) foulmouthed tirade that Ashton launched at the Hull KR player who tackled him in the 2nd half around the 68th minute.
Plus, not forgetting the other foulmouthed tirade, to the trainers about his studs in his boots?
damien morrissey, may I ask you, what punishment would be sufficient for the two incidents above?
DaveO i agree with you about Gaz he shows more passion than all the rest of the squad including the four i have mentioned and i need to add O@Carrol to that. He drives me mental He makes me wish i was good enough to play the game to that level. He gets me off my feet going mad when he carries the ball forward. And then the discipline thing makes me put my head in my hands. I feel myself shouting just shut the fluff up and walk away but he cant do it he just cant keep it buttoned and we lose yards and momentum in games.

and it's exactly that what is costing us games. penalties in opposition half and we can't seem to keep hold of the damn ball in our own. it isn't all gaz hocks fault don't get me wrong, but if the ref gives a decision, ranting in his face isn't going to persuade him to change his mind.

I know thats why he isnt on my fantastic 4 and Eamon list.He must be stupid enough to think that he his isnt making himself a marked man. we all like to blame the reffs but if he cant button it what choice do they have TBH i am surprised he hasnt seen red for it yet.- psycho - posted:

haha gottcha, mikey, trent, fletch, calders. i agree with the calderwood one. this guy tries hard people don't see it that way. they want the calderwood of leeds. we can't have that if he is playing in the wigan team of NL1.

Re: What to do....
i take nothing away from hull kr they where by far the better team both in the first half and the second half! first half they hammerd us in attack and second hald they defended like there lifes depended on it.we didnt show half the commitment they did! we will soon be bottom of super league branded the worst team in the league and with one win from four games its deseved. keep the faith im sick of keeping the faith. i will always support wigan no matted which division we play in but im so dam frustrated with them.

dont let your victories go to your head or your failures go to your heart
Re: What to do....
I'd settle for a Calderwood who wasn't ambling around the pitch like it's a Sunday stroll when he should be chasing the ball when it's kicked through. His attack wasn't too bad, although a few more forward runs instead of the cross-field runs making no distance forward might help. But their chase looked to give him problems on a few occasions last night, although I would say he was about a billion times better than his wing partner on the other side of the pitch who was as much use to the team as I was sitting 28 rows back! Whatever we are paying Pat Richards, it's far too much....- psycho - posted:

the way to sort ashton out is simple ,just take a leaf out of sir alex's book ,pick up one of his boots and smack him over the head with it ....simple sorted ....next- psycho - posted:
