Re: EU ?
Interestingly the head of the German equivalent of the CBI but which in Germany has much greater influence with the Government has said that after any Brexit there will be no changes to tariffs on any British goods coming into Germany or vice versa. That has shot one of the main threats we are being force fed by the Remainers

Il n'y a rien de mal a ça mais il est difficile de penser à autre chose.
Now Europe is just for holidays.

Re: EU ?
Largely due to the fact that if they charged us tariffs it would have a greater negative impact on their economy over ours. All the same if the do impose a tariff they can not discriminate against us so they would be at a minimum anyhow. We would still get a free trade agreement for the first 2 years after exit come what may by which time the dust would have settled.ian.birchall wrote:Interestingly the head of the German equivalent of the CBI but which in Germany has much greater influence with the Government has said that after any Brexit there will be no changes to tariffs on any British goods coming into Germany or vice versa. This guy seems to think we'll do ok outside the EU https://youtu.be/m6JsrxXhCEc
End of chat hahaha such arrogance.
Whenever the remainders can't nullify or offer justified responses it comes down to playing the small minded ignorant card.
IMO whichever decision wins I wish us as a nation the best of luck because my bottom line is I want us as a nation to prosper in every area.

This is a non partisan assessment of the effect brexit will have on the British economy. Chose to disbelieve it if you wish.

No doubt some brexiters are aware of the potential financial calamity associated with leaving the EU and are prepared to accept it.
However, people trying to write off these effects will be challenged by people who disagree, which isn't a definition of arrogance or disrespect.

How did we manage before we went into the EU and had a large manufacturing base, most of which has gone to other countries, mainly to former East European Communists states?jobo wrote:Zero hours contracts have nowt to do with Europemedlocke wrote:WoW, Really, so it's not all going to be sunbeams and rainbows :eusa4: , do you think we don't know this, for some reason all you Bremainers seem to be focusing on economics, we've just gone through 5 years of austerity cuts, our economy is already banjaxed, add to that the brilliant zero hours contracts, plus uncontrolled immigration which have all resulted in 1.4 MILLION people relying on food banks, we are already seriously knackered within your precious 4th Reich, You Bremainers really do take the biscuit, your condescending sometimes arrogant attitude towards us Brexiteers is a joke, I think it is disgusting that some of you have called us uneducated racist bigots on this site in this thread, if you are happy with foreign rapists, murderers and kiddy fiddlers to walk our streets freely then then vote yes, voting out is the only way to sort out the mess our nation is currently in, why be happy being trading in a clique of 28 when we can be trading with the entire world without the 4th reichs interference, are you really happy living in something thought up by Adolph Hitlerjobo wrote:If anyone is in favour of leaving then that's fair enough but please do not delude yourself and look for economic reasons to justify your stance. Never mind, we still have a tourist industry to rely on while we pay more into the EU than what we get back out in rebates.
We led the world prior to EU membership, but now it now leads us with imports exceeding exports.
Re: EU ?
I'm voting remain,
on one side you have two people at the opposite ends of the political spectrum wanting to remain for different reasons
Pig Boy Cameron and Anti EU socialist Corbyn on the other
side you have Gove/Boris/IDS people who actively want to destroy public services like the NHS/Education and well all remember the Fit to work Mess.
thats before you look at any of the actual issues.
