Anyway, Carmont's new deal is the same length as his old one (with a mutual extension - that's one that either side can veto), so I wouldn't describe him as having his long term future setup - he will just feel a little more valued next season and be pushing for that extended deal - surely?

I watched Smith in Aus and he is a great player with a superb kicking game and good hands. He also can organise the players around him, so let him settle in next year before you judge him.
