My concern is if they are going to keep them longer than 12 months?!? With it being a 1 year deal then i don't expect so! I seem to think we've had a new kit every season for about the last 6 or 7 years!?!

Well I've ordered mine this morning from the club shop and I wasn't told there would be 10% off for season ticket holders. Where did you get the voucher from? did it come with your season ticket 'cos nothing came with mine!

"LOL"
as they say.
First impressions I love it - any pictures of the back? Usually shirts take a bit of time to grow on me but this one is a good one straight away. The away kit does looks similar to 2002 (i think)
To the people who go on about paying for a shirt for all their family - dont. If it's too expensive dont buy it. It is the same each year whenever a shirt comes out the same things are said, nothing will change.
I shall be getting 15% off cheaper than £42.99

so could you...

home kit definitely looks like HKR and away looks like hull FC's away shirt from last season.
do not like them in the slightest.

Yes please Mike, don't know why I've not got one but thanks for that, will pick one up off you at the Riversiders meeting on 3rd February if thats okay.
Have ordered both from the shop and was told in confidence that they would only go on sale mid February, but seeing as Pemps has already mentioned that date don't think it makes a difference now.

I know we are going through a Credit Crunch and everything but we are Wigan Warriors, the Greatest Rugby League team Ever.. Do you get what i'm saying??
Who do you suggest then, JJB paid us sod all for years, we could have GMB,diggerworld or eric france scrap metal merchants. we could have some dodgy flyby night loan conmpany that will go bust halfway through the season.
Get your head out of your backside, they are a multi million pound company and have given us cold hard cash, we put thier name on our shirts. I am led to believe its a 12 month deal with a second year option, so maybe in twelve months time we can get a sponsor more in line with the "greatest club inthe world" but get real, in finacial terms and for exposure we have won nowt since 2002, if we win something this year we are more saleable.
wigan fans are and always have been glass half full merchants!
Exactly - I dont think some fans realise how hard it is in this current climate to get someone to sponsor a team. We should be thankful really
I appreciate what both of you are saying, but i am just pointing out my "Personal" opinion, I know things are difficult in the business world at the moment so it's harder to get sponsors but.....
I know the Money is nowhere even remotely close in Rugby League as Football but i wouldn't have minded if the club had gone down the route of West Brom and not had a sponsor at all rather than attract one that creates negativity like this seems to have...

The only thing is wigan could have used this as an oppurtunity to get the whole town involved and setup a competition for designing the new kit both home and away. it could've raised a lot of media attention for the club making it more desirable and included the whole family to enter, possibly with a free season ticket as a prize and the first shirt given to the winner.
i rekon its an oppurtunity missed and they should consider it in the coming seasons so hopefully the designs of the kit will get better as certainly a whole town of ideas is better than a few peoples.
Good idea pal. But i somehow think it wouldnt have worked with the kit manufacturers making the final decision.
Im all for Bingo at half time any way
