I've looked through all 4 pages of this thread. Yes, Noble has gone, on balance we're glad and most of us wish him well.

But who are we getting - Shaun Wane or Maguire? Does anybody know for sure. I know nothing about Maguire but Wane has done the job and I guess will never be reluctant to promote youngsters who are ready. Perhaps he could start by bringing in Ben Davies and losing Mr Fielden who just ain't the most inspiring prop these days and costs Wigan a mint.

Keep St Patrick, keep Carmont for another year, Roberts - not sure. Feka's probably worth another season as is Coley - if he stops giving away penalties.

Good Luck Brian

My phone was going wild in my pocket last night, but i didn't read the news being sent whilst your interview was taking place, how you hugged your players it was obvious.

Good luck in your next challenge mate and thanks for your time with us.

Thanks for keeping us in Superleague.

Morley - went to Warrington for more money..
King - went to Warrington for more money
Carvell - went to Warrington for more money
Hodgson - went to Huddersfoeld for more money
Bird - was going to Bradford for more money ended up at Catalan
Who is to blame for that
Is there a "blame"? This is why there is a cap, to prevent one club obtaining all the talent (unless you are Warrington  )

And stops throwing stupid off-loads, and learns to keep hold of the ball in a tackle.
Drop him as quickly as he drops the ball.

Good luck Nobby.

What I can't understand is Brian Noble said live on sky that the decision had been made a week ago that he was leaving. Therefore even if we had won on Saturday and somehow won the final he was still going. How embarrassing would that have been that the only coach to win us something in years was effectively sacked. Good luck Brian in your next job where ever that may be. I still wouldn't rule out Bradford.

According to the quotes in the Times the decision was made some months ago. Some weeks before the club offered the job to Kearney.

If you are going to get a new coach in you can't leave it to the end of the season to start looking.

What Noble said was he was only informed a week ago he was not getting a new deal which isn't the same thing.

Which is a reason why when the club decided he wasn't getting a new deal months ago he should have been sacked and Wane appointed caretaker. That may sound harsh but if you let a coach who you have decided not to retain see his contract out then you risk what you say happeneing.
