A bad supporter?
A sarcastic one, sometimes a bad supporter as we all are at times, a supporter increasingly trying to employ perspective.
This what I'm saying, you are really mellowing in your old age

The team has gone through a lot of change - Piggy, Gleeson, Fielden big players last yr - others (Feka/Bailey/Phelps?) plus daft suspensions this yr, plus 3 new players from the other side of the world, plus the man of steel injured for the start of the season? wow, to think we could of picked up were we left of would be extremely optimstic.

Its diffficult to watch and it wont get any better this half of the season but lets review this link when we get into the 2nd half of the season. We will be there have no fear! Patience and yes the best time to rebuild a team is after success. A poor coach gets complacent a great coach changes. Anyone who knows anything about the 'sigmoid curve' will know about 'coaching teams through change'. Remember when Fergie sold Ince, Hughes, Konchelskis - this is for the long term not the short term.

Its difficult/very frustrating times but these new players need our support. In Madge we trust.

Great track record on calling the players. You can take your pick. Pat, Piggy, the list goes on. Who will be next for the axe? Notice how many of the posters no longer come on line.

Sorry Jim, I've no idea what you're trying to achieve. The last post on this thread was nearly 4 months ago. Not much has changed in the team and we're still top of the league. :conf:

Bloody hell, I hadn't looked at the year, I thought it was April this year that the last post was written. I still can't fathom out what sort of point he's trying to make with that last post.

Actually Sutty, the last post was 16 months ago but I can see why Jim has pulled this thread out.

Yep, it was me who slated Hoffman, Lima and Finch and I recall having quite a bit of support back then. In my defence, I am still here enjoying my humble pie! :)

Yes Kitt ok you said some silly things early on in Lima and Finch Wigan careers but why is he dragging that up now? Am I missing something? You accepted you were wrong and to be honest with some of the things Jim has said in the past you could have a field day thread dredging some of his previous posts and comments, Infact you need to look no further than the Gelling/Thornley thread and his last post about Thornley and the Pryce comparison. Look Jim is entitled to his opinion as we all are and we have to respect that but not necessarily agree with it, there is an old saying along the lines of 'people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw bricks', anyway no doubt I will get told to mind my own business again!!
