Any further developments on where this game will be played ?

Date ?

I heard a rumor that the NZWarriors have asked Wigan to consider giving them a Warm up game before the WCC.

Good choice of a Warm up game , the NZd'ers go ok in warm up preseason games , about 50/50 wwin loss in those fixtures...not to taxing for Wigan , not too easy either.

We should know more at 00.01 am Monday morning when our fixtures are released :)

Don't know about the warm up game because our season will have already started & we will have played a couple of games if they are using the same format of the last few years where the WWC is played around the third or fourth game into our new season :)
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

According to Bilko, a warm up game v NZ warriors is looking increasingly likely, as is delaying our league season to accommodate it.

Interesting. It would sell out our home ground.

On the back of the World cup , the Auckland nines tournament , the Signing of Tomkins , it would be a very smart move to make the Sister club idea more than just talk.

Certainly the NZWarriors Coaching staff would be more than happy to tell their Wigan counter parts how we approached the Roosters when we played them twice last year.

First Game was the opening home game of our season , we lost by two points.

Secound time they we met late season they were top of table and we were near the Bottom.

We beat them convincingly.

Our record historically against the Roosters is even
