Watched & supported all these boys from being kids :)
That's worthy of a caption competition. I am sure Sam is saying something to Joel there behind gritted teeth.
Don't be cheeky, I'm still friends with Sam even if he is in NZ & speak to him often :)
Only joking Josie. I hope you and your family are well. Just trying to cheer myself up after watching that rubbish from our wendyball team.

Said to Stephen before KO, England will never win anything with Sinfield as captain  but I meant Gerrard ????

Josie, pass on my best wishes to Sam he seems to be doing good now in NRL.

I reffed the odd game for St Pats in Sam's early days as a favour to my mate who coached at st Pats. The games at Blackbrook were always interesting.

My middle son went to school at SJFisher with Sam. My eldest doesn't get on with JT though.

Will do.

Don't think Joel is as outgoing as Sam TBH but I always got on well with them all :)

When Sam was over in Oz for his first tri nations,I think. He was interviewed by the media. You know how they always ask what's the funniest thing etc, well he said there were a few but the latest one was when a lady I know ask me to sign her dogs Wigan shirt!

That 'lady' was me

He's also signed my walking stick but that has eventually worn off :(

Super League star who moved to the 15-man code's Saracens in 2011 has taken a pay-cut to return to the DW Stadium side.

Prodigal son Joel Tomkins admits playing rugby league for Wigan means more than representing his country at rugby union.

And Tomkins confirmed he’s taken a drop in wages to swap the Aviva Premiership with Saracens for the First Utility Super League with last season’s double winners.

The 27-year-old back row forward cum centre signed a four and a half year deal during the half-time interval of Wigan’s 48-4 win over Widnes on Wednesday, returning to the club he left for Sarries in 2011.

“The salary cap is bigger in rugby union so wages are bigger but my motivation moving to union was never financial,” said Tomkins.

“I just wanted to try something different and try a different lifestyle. I am glad I did it because I have I have had some good experiences.

“And it is the same now. This move coming back is not financially motivated.”

Tomkins, who won the first of his three England RU caps against Australia last November, added: “It is about playing the sport that I love and wanting to come back to this club which I believe is the best rugby club in the world.

“I weighed up my options and I thought what it meant for me to play England rugby union and what it meant for me to play for Wigan rugby league.

“Obviously, it means more for me to play for Wigan rugby league.”

Tomkins was a Grand Final winner with the Warriors in 2010 and a Challenge Cup Final winner - including a spectacular try - 12 months later.

The dad-to-be, who made his first Wigan debut in 2005 as an 18-year-old, is sidelined for at least a month by a bulging disc in his back.

And while Wigan’s quarter-final cup exit against Castleford means no Wembley return this August, Tomkins’ arrival significantly boosts the club’s chances of winning a second successive Grand Final.

“I left Wigan on really good terms and the chairman always said if the time was right there would be an opportunity to come back," he said.

“And the time feels right now. The top and bottom of it is I feel I am a better rugby league player than I am a rugby union player.

“I enjoy playing rugby league more than I enjoy playing rugby union. I am 27 now and I feel like I have got a lot to give to this club."

On those photos there's three ugly looking blokes with a good looking woman.
Who is she, I know I've seen her around, does she watch Wigan at all?
