Thought Clubb was our best forward.
Interesting to see his stats for the game compared to our other forwards.

Terrible game for both teams

scoreline flattered wigan i felt

We were simply awful, the worst i have have seen wigan look in years, the last time we were that bad was when noble was in charge.

There was simply no plan, no-one knew what was going on in attack or defence and the attacking line was so flat you could of drawn lines with it!.

Clueless and you have to point the finger at the coach because they clearly havent been given any sort of game plan - sorry- no - they were at half time they were told as usual the best way to get into the game would be to swing punches instead of tackling!

Wane needs to go, when the camera cut to him tonight he looked like a man who has reached the end of his talent and realised it.

Wigan will not make top 4, i dont think we will be relegated because i think there are enough poor teams to protect us but we havent got a chance of winnning anything

i think Madges culture has worn off and now we are left with a shaved ape ranting about intensity

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure

Great comment.

Hope you are right about relegation but a re-run of 2006 is not beyond reason.

I was probably more dejected last night but more curious this morning. Loads of questions that I can't answer myself.

Why was the whole team so lethargic?
How come Bowen, who took high balls really well all night, is never there to defend when tries are scored?
Why has Sarginson gone backwards this year?
Why was Mossop so ineffectual when he was pretty good last week?
Why Were Joel and Farrell so quiet in the first half, hardly making any impression on the game?
Why did Bateman charge around instead of running things from loose-forward?
Why doesn't Tautai spend more time on the field?
What's up with Micky Mac?
Why Tony Clubb at all?
When will Larne Patrick begin to understand his role as a team player?

Every individual has bad nights but the whole team looked either tired or disenchanted, even when they were 8 points up. And when was the last time that the there was only one flash of proper Wigan play - George Williams' great kick and Budgie's perfect run to catch and score?

This was probably more disturbing than the surrender at Castleford. If the team can't get up for a match against Leeds - when will they do so?

That was a frightening similarity to the time Andy Goodway coached Wigan and the cameras panned onto him sat at the back of the stand seemingly oblivious to what was going on in the field of play.

Naturally the fans booed him and he sat up and pretended to take more of an interest, whilst his counterpart that day (a certain Stuart Raper), bounced up and down the touchline and stairs barking instructions as if his life depended on it

I am losing patience rapidly but again for me the players making huge mistakes at the wrong times last night was embarrassing!! We score a try, mess the restart up, we score a penalty, mess the restart up again, to relieve all the pressure on Leeds!! 2nd half we start well and get good field position whilst only 6 points behind, then Moose drops it then gives away a high shot, again pressure relieved! Then Budgie drops the ball over the line to close the gap to 6 points with 5 minutes left. In the bigger picture we are a million miles away but just while we are trying to gain some momentum/form these mistakes are inexcusable from the players, for whatever reason. What is more worrying is Leeds looked bang average yet still better than us!! I also thought Silverwood favoured them slightly in some calls but again not a huge factor in the defeat!!
