And other than the Brough interception when we looked to score, we kept them pointless in the second half. Also, I'm wondering if at half time Mr Child took my advice about what to do with his whistle?Caboosegg wrote:Faz had a good first half in a very poor wigan performance so well done.
Bowen Tomkins and Charnley seem to have terrorised a tired huddersfield side in the second half.
Was rather interest game to listen to (didnt go) what i loved is that there wasn't a build up to alot of the wigan trys they came from anywhere at any point.
I will answer my,own question....East Stand Faithful wrote:Good win in the end.
Was MM injured or did they just decide to rest him in the second half with the Saints game coming and having done the 80 last week?
You asked me before the game what I thought the result would be ????????????????Firestarter wrote:Just got back.my analysis was that we played ok in spells and beat a very poor giants team imho.We struggled to complete our sets of 6 in the first half but got better in the 2nd..Child give them everything in the first, but give us everything in the second..We play well when we go forward first, but sometimes try to overplay in our own 20.We also should have learn on the intercept after it nearly happened on the opposite flank a minute earlier off a sarge pass..The last tackle kick chase was poor in the first but we kicked much better in the second against a strong wind.
Player wise I thought all the threequarters worked hard( but Joel will never ever be a centre).Smith and George played well in spells but always seem to link better when George is at first receiver.Tautai made some good yards today off the bench,as did flower and Bateman. Also faze rely improved our left edge attack and was my mom.On a downer I think lockers struggled again today and looks like a passenger in a strong pack.I think he's finished and hope he proves me wrong big time.Powell had his best game as replacement hooker, and started the run up to the game winning try(more please).
At the end of the day a wins a win and our away form IS getting better
I fear that someone is going to have to make a hard decision over Lockers given his current form, can we afford to carry anyone at the moment given Wigan's at times ropey form since he came backFirestarter wrote:Just got back.my analysis was that we played ok in spells and beat a very poor giants team imho.We struggled to complete our sets of 6 in the first half but got better in the 2nd..Child give them everything in the first, but give us everything in the second..We play well when we go forward first, but sometimes try to overplay in our own 20.We also should have learn on the intercept after it nearly happened on the opposite flank a minute earlier off a sarge pass..The last tackle kick chase was poor in the first but we kicked much better in the second against a strong wind.
