Bob Beswick

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

I am sure the rules allow for players out for the season to be deregistered.

Seems sensible, therefore allowing for a season long replacement to fit in and cover the injury.
I know we have people on here who don't like seeing players play "out of position", but do we have cover with Powell and Williams, who both have covered the Hookers position.
Is there coverage with the younger players looking to step up, at either 9, 6 or 7?

Yes, Wigan's according to what I was told by someone in the know.

Hope its not true!

Good player and a Wigan lad but there's no way Warrington will let him go.
Brad is a player Wigan let go! He was on our scholarship as a stand off (never a stand off) and dropped at about 12/13 years old. I did say then he should play hooker and for once I was right.
Is he related to the Dwyer who was good amateur player with Rose Bridge a few seasons ago?

We rarely spend up to the cap limit so early in the season. Come on WW who would you go for if we had money to spend?
A class playmaker Stand off, a specialist Hooker and a big rugged rough Prop Forward like Leeds have in Galloway and Warrington have in Simms and hopefully one of them who can also kick goals.

They do as far as I am aware Dave O, and in view of the bad injury to Mcllorum the club should be thinking along those lines, especially if there is any doubt that Mcllorum will return to the game as he does seem to be injury proned.

Yes, his older brother. Brad played in the same junior team at Rose with Greg Burke.

There's no such thing any more! They're a another half back IMO, and others opinions too!

That came about to make the game faster, so really there isn't any need for a restart from a scrum! They may as well do a tap, which the way things are going, with all the H&S people interfering, will not be far off.

We will soon be watching "Tag Rugby"!!!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

WW, I meant the name of a replacement for MM not half the team! I do however agree with you about the need for a stand off.

Heard from a very good source Wigan are looking to sign a young Aussie hooker.
