How, on earth after watching that can anyone think we can win the CC this year by beating Salford and then either Leeds or Hull. This team and the coaches are quite fortunate we aren't in the middle eights never mind the super eights. Once in the super eights how many games can you see us a winning, one maybe against Hudders. This form cant be disguised any longer by anyone, it is truly awful and the fans are right to voice their opinion.

I was dreading Wanes press conference last night in case he said "I am hurting" and "I wish we was playing Leeds tomorrow".

Well I am hurting and gutted but thank god we aren't playing Leeds today because I couldnt bare to sit through the tripe again

Quite apart from yet another terrible performance, it is the constant ill-discipline that winds me up the most. Dumb penalty after dumb penalty - it has been going on for ages now, so either the coach encourages it or has no control over his team. Which is it, Wane?

Like others, I sat there last night seriously considering whether I'd renew my season ticket next year. I know I will, as I support the club, not just this collection of individuals who are currently representing it. But I understand that many may not renew and with attendances already getting worse, the effect could be disastrous - not just for Wigan, but the sport in general.

The playing style is so boring now and, quite honestly, clueless in attack. Why did nobody stop them from constantly taking the ball into the middle last night - playing into Wire's strengths? It wasn't as if they were being made to do that by Warrington, they chose to, time and again. As for the panic passes coming out of defence and Sam T's relentless sniping at the official and berating, rather than encouraging his team mates - especially the younger ones, it appears to me at least as though, as successful as he's been in the past, Wane's time might be up and we need a fresh face with modern ideas at the helm.

I hope they can still salvage something from this season, but in truth, I'm not hopeful.

Everybody seems agreed about poor approach, whether game plan or execution or both.

Comments about individual players (including mine) can be "how you saw it" but not always reflected in the stats. I know some dismiss them but fans may rightly notice errors or penalties conceded, but not always see the hard graft someone does. I always check stats to see if they confirm my gut reaction.

Looking at "middles" (props plus Lockers), FPN copped most flak, whilst Clubby got more positive mentions.

Clubb had best ave gain at 9.3.
Frank Paul worst at 4.6.

TC 27 tackles with 8 from marker, FPN 2nd lowest at 21 and 4.

Both conceded 1 penalty, but Frank "won" 2-0 on errors.

Not in the stats, but I remember Clubb gaining at least 2 penalties after hard drives up the middle.

Seems pretty clear that the fans' view is backed up by the figures.

As I recall, Clubby won a pen with his very first touch!

Everything I was going to say has been said by everybody else.

17 players playing as individuals. Very depressing and demoralising to watch.
Makes me sad.
I know it's always easy to blame the coach but............after last night I can only see a change of coach as the answer.
But..............I,ll reserve judgement ,till next week.
If Leeds humiliate us :( :( :(

Only way we get rid of Wane is to win no more games this year, we are safe from relegation so why not, surely the sacrifice would be worth it if we got Des Hasler or Bryan Smith and they brought their own staff into the club

Not for some time mate, that's why I've not bothered with a season ticket for the past two years, just gone to the occasional game and then wondered why have I just wasted my money on watching this boring dumb team
