Can anyone remember a season when there's been so many deserving candidates?
It’s going to cost me a fortune this year!
Three trophy’s so far with a tie at the moment for the Player of the Season. Young player was easy
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
Sorry to leave it so late Josie but there are so many to choose from. I love watching Wardle but I'll settle on Thompson who's been immense and far better than I expected (I was worried about his injury record). Junior has to be young player for me. He's still improving at a time of the year when I thought he'd start to tire - amazing progress.

That’s okay it would have been today anyway if the fixture hadn’t changed as it was the last game of the regular season.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to vote for the Player & Young Player of the 2024 season.
I will reveal the Winners in a few days time.
Josie x

Wardle for me, the best centre we've had since Gene Miles. Junior best rookie, that young man has every skill.
I am grateful to you for this. I had forgotten that Miles played for us, and had been struggling to think of a better purists centre I had seen (from late 70s on onwards). While my brother tried to make the case for Connolly, I prefer Wardle as a more classical centre. And he never has a bad game (he barely has a bad minute). It was scary - in a good way - to hear Marshall say how much improvement he has in him. Seeing him in full flight in the last couple of months makes me think he may only be getting going.
Field, French, Nsemba, Wardle, Thompson… each one worth the admission fee on their own. We are truly blessed.
