I reckoned if we played well we'd win. And we did play well.

Agreed

. I spoke to a friend a couple of weeks back. If Wigan turn up and play well, then they win as the other sides cant maintain the intensity for 80 minutes. Obviously sending offs etc, can influence the result, but play well, we win

I put a bet on Wigan Warriors beating Leigh Leopards to nil.
I told Sam Tomkins & Brian Carney also about a hour before KO that we would nil them!
I backed us last year after the Grand Final on Sky Bet, must have been a bit tiddly for this particular bet cos I put it on 4 times Wigan Warriors to win the Grand final.
I put the same 2 bets on, again on Sky Bet, that we would win the Challenge Cup & League Leaders shield!
On William Hill, I put on 2 bets, again on Wigan Warriors winning the Challenge Cup & Grand Final!
I get a bit giddy sometimes & forget what bets I’ve put on!
But before you all say I’ve a gambling problem, I only put small bets on. Same with the horses

Billy Boston is Mr Wigan and, in my eyes Josie, you are Mrs Wigan. I’d give you the freedom of the town never mind let you have a bet

Matt Peet says I’m just mad but then I’ve known him a very long time so he probably knows

1. To win a game in RL,RU ,soccer, cricket etc the winner is always the team with the most points etc. This is the case even if the loosing side played the better rugby, soccer etc. It is a fact and constitutes the notion of winning. Any opinions as to who will Win is subjective and is irrelevant to the objective fact which "trumps" any subjective opinion, judgement etc. Infact the posts I refer from Mike, and others who think the opposite are hopelessly illogical.for Eg member of the FlatEarth Society has the sincerely held and
subjective opinion that the planet Earth is flat. The objective view of Science that we all know it is essentially spherical Ridiculous opinions can be illogical full stop. Its back to Cycling for me although I do hope we win next week

One thing confused me. When Marshall dropped the ball and it was given a knock on, he was facing his own posts.
How can that be a knock on?
We were always taught to catch the ball from a kick off facing our own posts, so if we dropped it , it was play on.
Have the rules changed?
There was another odd decision from last night, but i've forgotten!
Some refs appear to give a knock on for every dropped ball no matter what direction it goes in.
