That's an interesting point. How is the club planning to enforce this, will they have their stewards walking up and down the stairs all through the match looking out for smokers? Will they climb over other spectators to get to the middle of a row to ask someone to stop smoking if they light up? Will they be using the cameras mounted on all the stands to spy on people and watch out for smokers trying to be discrete? If you as a spectator ask someone to stop smoking and they say no, what should you do? You'll have angered the smoker for challenging them, and probably will anger all the people around you if you get up to go and find a steward to complain to.DaveO posted:

I've not seen any notices at all about how this is going to be enforced. Next Friday could be interesting...
