Davis says he could walk away if the EU insist on £85bn exit bill from the EU. Again no trade deal.
Either way we would be falling out of the EU without any trade deal whatsoever. No single market, no customs union, visas to visit EU countries.
That would bring a formal border between N Ireland and the republic.
That is the exact opposite of what the DUP and their business supporters want. I wonder if the DUP would back May then?
Wouldn't it be great if the DUP took the money then sometime down the line they voted against May.
She now has her majority that can see her through for some time.

May carries on with her reduced majority.
Sometime within 12 months the EU talks break down with no deal and UK facing no single market, no customs union and no transition period.
May calls a 2nd EU referendum and Remain win by 3-4m votes.
May carries on as PM with her two remain ministers Hammond & Green at her side. She sacks Davis, Johnson, Patel and all the other "Toxic" tories and promotes the younger Javid, Vaisey and other Remain MPs.

May then carries on and Labour can't make any ground electorially.

Just speculation on my part, might be right and also could very well be wrong.

Not a bad prediction to be fair just the second EU ref that i doubt.

Some of the leave vote was fuelled by xenophobia, which was exploited nicely by folk like Farage and Johnson.
However the lies and inuendo they spouted at the time about border control was unsubstantiated and unachievable then and nothing will change in reality, hence Maggie May's comment that folk need to realise they wont get all their expectations realised.
An open border in Ireland is one part of DUP requirements, so there's a hole in the fence there.

I was listening to Norman Tebbit on the radio this morning and he thought that there was no need at all to pay the DUP anything, that they would never allow the Tories to be replaced by a "Marxist government". So even rabid old Norman thinks it's a crap idea. Listening to him though did remind me what a detestable human being he is and that the vile dark heart of conservatism is still alive and well.
