I was just trying to get a bit more information on this player, whose name means nothing to me to be honest.

From Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_King
Matt King was consistently linked with a move to the European Super League during June 2007. [6]

King has been linked to the Bradford Bulls. [7] [8] [9]

King is expected to confirm he has signed for European Super League club Bradford Bulls for $600,000 per year after the final State of Origin test on the 4th July, 2007, after turning down higher paid offers from other Super League teams. [10] [11] [12] [13]

He will join other Australians such as former Melbourne favourite Scott Hill and Canberra Raiders half-back Mark McLinden at the English side. The move will see the New South Wales man become a marquee player in the English capital, however it will make the 26 year old unavailable for State of Origin. Kings contract is to play in the English captial for the next four seasons is worth $700,000. [10]
Mixed message there, the fourth part obviously suggesting London are in the race and offering more money than us.

From the Herald Sun: http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/ ... 23,00.html
Five clubs are chasing King -- Bradford, Wigan, Hull Kingston Rovers, Leeds and London.

The richest offer is worth $700,000 a season, but King is looking at $600,000 to join England powerhouse clubs Bradford or Wigan.
So maybe people shouldn't start assuming we're already in there, the Aussies don't seem to think we are...
