well this is my 1st time with a reply on this site been reading it for the last few weeks and i havn't signed up to cause an arguement, but i haft to say all the people who are suggesting noble to go are idiots.. he said before taking the job it will be a 3 year building phase.. we are in the second year of this; last year we got one game away from the final beaten by the champions and the best team in the league. i remember every one chearing for that idiot aussi ian millward to come in who took saint helens from good to world class, come to wigan and destroyed the team nearly relegating us. so im left to ask this question why would noble whant to stay at a team like wigan :S history only takes you so far its because he has far more experince than any one on this site managing a team.. and we need pride in the shirt and i think he is the most proud one of all if he left wigan tomorrow no doubt he would be in the nrl in a top job. and we all love to see born wigan lads in the team but they just aint doing the job sorry to say this messop last night was aweful, colbon shocking was cought out all the time no speed at all, and it just shows you how pat strengthens this team by a mile.. and baily he might not be in form but he is also soild in defence.. next year one signing we need is terry newton!! this is how much pride he has, two days before ian millward was coming to wigan he told people he was leaving wigan despises the man. pride! power! skill! knowledge! and fitness he can play 80 mins we waste our time with 2 hookers they get into a mode where it runs smoothly but its broken by the interchanges.. and also has grown up at bradford and i think he could sort hock out as thats all wrong with him is he needs to grow up. this just my opinion by the way dont mean to offend any one in saying this

We still live in a Country that offers free speech, hi!, you are welcome to your opinion, unfortunately, it might be a greatly diminishing one in the last year of his "three year plan".
Embarrassing

To say last night was the last home game of the season, and considering it was also the last game in a wigan shirt for certain players, last night was an absolute disgrace. There were fewer missed tackles at half time when the little kids were playing.
A complete anti-climax.

i still feel 3 years is not long enough unless wigan want to pay big money on compensation to get rid of the players who were taking up money and playing poo. not naming names.. but he still hasn't got his ideal squad i am sure noble wanted dobson but it lenegan who signed smith. so how can noble put together a team what fits with his tatics when the chairman is sign great player but just not the right one for wigan :S?

Most of whom have been re-signed by Brian Noble! If he didn't want them - why re-sign them? :doz: As for Dobson, he went to a club daft enough to pay him the "stupid" money he (and another player heavily linked with the club pre-season) wanted.

3 year plan is enough as only Fielden will still be on the big money as everyone elses should have been renegotiated.
The chairman will not sign people without consulting the coach. It is also upto the coach to get the best out of the players which we all know Noble isnt doing.
He is accountabloe for the teams performance as he is in charge of them, it the price you pay for accepting the job.
Team doesnt perform = coach out.....simple business.
