Interesting conversation this morning with some who is friends with a member of the Saint Helen's coaching staff rea certain Mr hohia and how he is trying to obtain a payout for his aledged concussion this apparently wasn't supported by saints Ashe wanting to move to tbe USA earlier as planned and hope to get a payout to fund this saints apptarently unhappy with him hence left immediately ....so have to see what happens now

I've read this, it also says that Flower served a six month ban while he, Hohaia, served four matches!!!

The former New Zealand international and Warriors utility says he has hung up his boots because of "recurrent post-match concussion-type symptoms" arising from his concussion while playing for St Helens in last October's Super League grand final.

Hohaia lasted just two minutes of the title decider at Old Trafford after being punched twice by Wigan prop Ben Flower, who subsequently served a six-month ban.

The 32-year-old served a four-match for his part in the incident before going on to make eight appearances this season but said he took the decision to quit the game after the symptoms began to re-occur.

It'll suit all those turkeys on Redvee, they hounded Eastmond out of the club, Jamie Foster was the next whipping boy and (apart from his 'heroics' at G.F. last year,) Hohaia has been pilloried, slaughtered, slandered and hated by them. The same people are posting on a thread re Flower and another about S.W. It's got to be the most vitriolic and obscene content posted, I'm surprised the site admin don't clamp down on this. In a way, Hohaia will be well out of it, he won't have a shedful of fond memories from St Helens.

Just read thro' the Redvee comments re Hohaia and now the same people are saying things like 'he always gave 100%' or 'sorry to see him go', all that peripheral dross you come to expect from a Stains supporter.

It may well involve an insurance pay out to LH but the insurance company may then try to sue Flower and/or Wigan to get their money back claiming that their costs were incurred due to a blatant infringement of the rules.

How bad is that? As someone said, he's already played eight games this season. The new concussion rules would not have let him play any of these games if he was suffering in any way from 'concussion'!

Josie, people involved in the reporting media should never be trusted as they will always distort things to their way of warped thinking to promote themselves and/or to sell a newspaper etc.

The way Flower has been treated by the media has been a disgrace, but comes as no surprise when you look at the way many other stories are reported.

After what they've called you over the last few years, I'll take that as a complement.
In the pub after the game tonight, I just might resurrect that comment I made, you know, something like "There's a fellow on the Wigan supporters pages reckons the Saints speccies blah blah blah etc" There's a fair sprinkling of 'em get in there cluttered round two tables analyzing the game. Yeah, I'll throw that one in.
