I gt back from Vegas yesterday what i would say is although the aussie teams seem to have brought more fans i only ever seemed to see Wigan and Wire fans walking around the strip which i thought was odd.

That stadium is something else! i thought we suffered from being first game on in terms of neutrals and the womens match was probably the best slot for us in between the 2 NRL games but i understand why for UK broadcast that wouldn't of worked.

couple of things that may of helped with bringing locals in maybe to boost the crowds

1) i thought the advertising was poor - not the amount there seemed a decent amount but it wasnt really explicit of the product and i didnt think the advert board driving down the strip putting down American Football as a way to draw people in was a good idea - dont insult the home nations best loved asset! for those who didnt see it was a billboard that said something along the lines of "no pads, no timeouts" as in this was better

2) Maybe some identity adoption - remember a few years ago when Widnes (could be wrong) played magic in a Newcastle inspired top? - i think had our teams worked with either the Knights or Raiders local teams to have a kit maybe based on theirs it might help - people like having a horse in the race.

As for my own experience would i go again? Absolutely! it was a rip off everywhere but still think the occasion was amazing - i went watching the Hockey game on the Sunday and that was even more bouncing in the smaller T-Mobile Stadium (even more a rip off too £17 per beer) but still the whole thing really was great
