Good point. And what we need to do now is, of course, start winning some games.
As far as new coaches go (and not couches as I wrote last time!), I reckon it's got to be either Chris Anderson, Hanley, or Edwards.
Or maybe Daniel Anderson just to p*** scum off

same old story, bad results = sack the coach, well i thought in millward we had a coach to stick with thru thick or thin, good luck to the man, hes done his best, cant do nothing with a team lacking in passion and effort. only seems last last week he was appointed at coach. take a leaf out of other clubs books, bad results doesnt mean, sack coach!!

Might as well put my two penith in. Milly joined us and i rubbed my hands and waited for the glory days, GF, CC winner couldnt wait. Reality one game in eight and bottom of the league not enough.
Our best player benched to accomodate his chum i dont know if he thought that was acceptable.
Statement made last year, words to the effect i have never seen a club with so many injuries a full investigation will be made to prevent this happening again. Result the same thing happened again.
Players who performed well for us last year dont get a squad number over long term sicknotes..
Constant shift in positions so no fluidity. Why ?shouldnt this be sorted on the training field and then once the decision has been made then we stick with it.
Agent Millward. What a load of rubbish but results matter and we havent got any.
Can he coach yes did we see the best of him obviously not.
To replace him Pendlebury at least he has SL experience till the end of the season. After that Laing is redundant next year i think from the Panthers so why not him.Kear is a pan to fire hire.

It is a good time for the club to get a new coach before it is too late on in the season. A very hard decision by the board, given Millard's experience and record... but as some people have said, maybe bring someone in who has passion for the club... Betts, Clarke... Edwards? But I think everyone is mentioning Edwards because of Wasps latest triumph and nobody considered him seriously before now.
The best thing that we supporters can do is get behind the lads on Good Friday, they will be shocked and disorientated by the matters so we need full voice at Knowesley Road. Wigan are down, but certainly not out yet!!! This squad is good enough for top-6 finish, not yet good enough for top 4 or to win SL but, patience.

Well I hope all those people who were calling for IM's head are happy now. I think those in power at the club who came to the decision should go and have an IQ test to see if they possess one or anything resembling one. Some people may not have liked IM because he came from Saints or was percieved as a bit arrogant perhaps. IMO he is a superb coach and this decision is a dumb arsed (sorry moderators) knee jerk reaction (only my opinion)
Player Power??!! Be nice to see some of that on the pitch. Brett Dallas summed it up for me in his statement earlier this week. IM doesent coach some of the cretinous stupidity I've seen from the players whilst sat in the West Stand this year. Certainly some of these players should have done the decent thing and called a halt to their good wage under trade descriptions where it says rugby league player.
Replacements - John Kear - I hope not, for the sake of the club.
Chris Anderson - hmmmm, so so
Edwards and Lam - yes - fresh and vibrant - players would certainly know where they stood with those two. It would be wherever they ordered them to be, no questions!
Edwards and Faz - next best alternative.
Could we afford them, could we tempt them with the club in its current position??
Only my opinions and I expect to be thoroughly disagreed with!!
ian.birchall are you coming back?
